Create
Create is the custom-engine workspace inside Choroboros. It gives licensed users a guided way to draft chorus engines, shape their sound, and adjust their visual identity.
What Create is for
The main Choroboros instrument ships with five tuned engines: Green, Blue, Red, Purple, and Black. Create is where you can start building your own variations from the same sound-design approach.
A custom engine combines a sound character with a visual identity. You choose the source sound design, tune the controls, and select the look that fits the engine.
Work areas
- Engine Builder - browse your engine library, create a new engine, duplicate an existing one, rename, delete, or mark an engine active.
- DSP Editor - choose the sound source and tune the parameters that define motion, width, color, and texture.
- Interface Editor - adjust knobs, panel artwork, accent color, value text, and other visual details.
- Settings - manage tutorial, accessibility, reset, and preference controls.
A typical session
- Open Create from Choroboros.
- Create a new engine or duplicate one you already like.
- Shape the sound in the DSP Editor.
- Adjust the visual identity in the Interface Editor.
- Return to Engine Builder and mark the engine active.
Visual assets
Create is designed around replaceable visual assets. The factory engines include complete artwork sets, and future asset packs can add new panels, knobs, slider thumbs, and color treatments.
Custom artwork should be readable at plugin scale, use consistent lighting, and keep the controls easy to see. The best custom engines feel like one instrument, not a collection of unrelated images.
Support
If a Create control is unclear or something does not behave as expected, email support@kaizendsp.com with your macOS version, DAW, plugin format, and a short description of what you were trying to build.
