DAW compatibility
Choroboros releases for macOS first, with VST3, AU, and a standalone app. Windows, Linux, and Pro Tools support will follow in later releases.
macOS Logic users: install AU, not VST3 — Logic prefers native AU.
Plugin doesn't show up in my DAW
macOS
- Use the current .pkg installer from /download.
- Restart your DAW and run a plugin rescan.
- If you upgraded from an older build, remove stale copies from
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/and/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/before rescanning.
Windows
Windows support will be documented when the Windows build is available.
Linux
Linux support will be documented when the Linux build is available.
AU validation fails in Logic
If Logic marks Choroboros as failed AU validation:
sudo killall -9 AudioComponentRegistrarThen relaunch Logic. If it fails again, reinstall from the current macOS .pkg and remove any older manual copies first.
